The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides free and confidential consultation to University of Miami faculty, staff, spouses, dependents and retirees. Consultations are with a certified employee assistance professional who listens, makes suggestions, or recommends someone who can help.

EAP consults about such issues as family and relationship problems, work stress, interpersonal difficulties, intense emotions, substance abuse or dependency, aging parents, legal matters and financial concerns.

EAP personnel will tailor a presentation or workshop for your department that will address specific difficulties or they will demonstrate general principles of productive and humane working relationships that may prevent such difficulties from arising.
