Dr. Kim Edward LeBlanc

Kim Edward LeBlanc, M.D., Ph.D., is the Executive Director of the Clinical Skills Evaluation Collaboration (CSEC) which administers the USMLE Step 2 Clinical Skills Examination. Although CSEC is based in Philadelphia PA, there are six centers in five cities across the country.
Dr. LeBlanc is Board certified in both Sports Medicine and Family Medicine and is Emeritus Professor and Department Chairman of Family Medicine at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans LA. In addition, he served on the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners from 2000 – 2013 and the Board of Directors of the Federation of State Medical Boards from 2006-2010. He also served on numerous test-writing committees and on the Board of Directors of the National Board of Medical Examiners prior to becoming the Executive Director of CSEC. Prior to entering academic medicine in 1999, he practiced for nearly 20 years in rural south Louisiana.
