  • Explain the imperative for adaptive expertise in medicine
  • Describe the evidence for developing  adaptive expertise through three pedagogical principles:
    -cognitive integration
    -productive struggle
    -meaningful variation
  • Describe a curriculum renewal designed according to these principles
  • Examine the challenges of evidence-based curricular change
